State Sen. Ryan Mishler (R-Bremen) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to chair the Senate Committee on Appropriations for the 122nd Indiana General Assembly.
Mishler will also serve as a member of the Senate Committees on Health and Provider Services and Tax and Fiscal Policy.
“This legislative session, my colleagues and I in the General Assembly will draft our state’s next two-year budget and work to address the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Mishler said. “We know tough decisions will need to be made in light of the unprecedented circumstances, but we will work to ensure our state is able to continue funding our top priorities.”

The 2021 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 17. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 4.
