mug_catherine rutledgeOn Sunday, December 13th shortly after 3:00 A.M. Deputy Bennett with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area Union Road and the 100 block of 9th road in reference to a report of and impaired driver.

Deputy Bennett located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop where the driver was identified as 58 year old Catherine Ann Rutledge of Akron.

During the investigation of the traffic stop Rutledge was suspected to be under the influence of Alcohol and was transported to St. Joseph Regional Hospital for a certified chemical test.

The tested results revealed that Rutledge was 3 times over the legal limit and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was held on a $1,505 bond.
