County employees put shoulders on 8th Road from SR 331 to the County Line Road.  They have run the last load of cold patch for the season through the pug-mill.  The County Highway Department has stockpiled 455 tons which should get them through winter.

This fall the County Highway Department subbed out several projects.  King Road from 10th Road to the E & B plant had the butt joints milled off and was resurfaced.  11th Road south of Michigan Road to the railroad tracks was completed this week by Walsh and Kelley along with Castle Drive from 11th Road to Lopine Lane.

Highway Superintendent Peters submitted an application for a second Community Crossings grant.  If awarded he plans to apply crack sealing on past Community Crossings paving projects.
