Plymouth boys soccer continued their winning ways tonight against the Bremen Lions. After defeating South Bend Washington 6-3 on Saturday, the boys were hungry for more and took a 10-1 win over Bremen.
Plymouth opened the scoring in the first half with a PK masterfully taken by #7 Selvin Pagoada. After making some tactical changes at the half, (1-0 at the half) the boys came out on fire! Selvin Pagoada, a Junior, netted two more goals on the night, giving him a hard-fought hatrick! Three goals on the night would add to his total of five for the season so far. 
#10 Ariel Romero would net another PK in the second half. Also scoring on the night was #14 Junior Jose Rosas with TWO goals, Sophomore, #26 Sidney Melendez, (assisted by Adrian Cardona #4). Senior Adrian Cardona #4 would add another as would Senior #6 Marco Diaz, #16 Sophmore Abe Rebollo. Adrian Cardona would end with three assists on the night!
Nine goals in the second half against a good Bremen Lions team showed the potential the Rockies have this season. The defense was anchored by Senior Captain #20 Eddie Mendoza (1 Assist on the night) who managed to keep the Lions to only one goal. Senior goalkeeper, #19 Ethan Hundt would have Five saves on the night and showed just how valuable he will be between the pipes this season.
The Rockies have lofty goals this season and are an exciting team to watch. Junior, #7, Selvin Pagoada was the team MVP last season and showed tonight how good he can be! He is an exciting midfielder that is sure to turn the heads of college coaches! Come out and watch him play!
Plymouth Travels next Monday, August 24, to play the Slicers of LaPorte. Varsity will play at 7:00 pm. Come out and watch a good Plymouth team play against a well-coached LaPorte team.
