girl-scout-cookiesThe residents of Miller’s Assisted Living have been blessed many times over during the pandemic situation. Many caring people from the community have brought all sorts of items to help make their lockdown more enjoyable. They have received cards, coloring pictures, flowers, candy, and parades around the building. And just this week they received a wonderful donation of Girl Scout Cookies. YES! You heard that correctly. Girl Scout Cookie Sales were halted because of the Corona Virus; however, the cookies could be donated. Resident Joan Owen’s granddaughter Sarah Barron has two favorite Girl Scouts who just happened to decide to donate their cookies not just grandma but to ALL the residents at Miller’s. The residents are enjoying the kindness and are having fun choosing their favorite flavors to take home with them. The residents say thank you to ALL who have showed such kindness and a special thank you to the Girl Scouts!
