Zone Leagues to start in July
PLYMOUTH – Due to the latest announcements from Indiana’s superintendent of public instruction and the Indiana High School Athletic Association regarding no school sports in June, we will be moving our ultra-popular June Boys and Girls Summer Basketball Leagues to the month of July.
Per the IHSAA, students will no longer be restricted from school, their teammates, or coaches beginning Wednesday, July 1.
As a result, The Zone’s Boys Summer League will tip Monday, July 6.
On Mondays throughout July boys teams in grades 3 through 8 will play doubleheaders for a total of eight games (four dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27).
On Wednesdays throughout July boys junior varsity and varsity teams will play doubleheaders for a total of eight games (four dates: July 8, 15, 22, 29).
The Zone’s Girls Summer Basketball League will tip Tuesday, July 7.
On Tuesdays teams in grades eight, junior varsity and varsity will play doubleheaders for a total of eight games (four dates: July 7, 14, 21, 28).
On Thursdays teams in grades 3 through 7 will play doubleheaders for a total of eight games (four dates: July 9, 16, 23, 30).
