The City of Plymouth will conduct their meetings on Monday, January 13th starting at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
The board will hear reports from various department heads including the Utility Superintendent who will present a contract from Midwestern Engineers for the Centennial Crossings residential project and the City Engineer with a request to work in the right-of-way at 2112 Jim Neu Drive by Comcast.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will ask the city council to accept a Conflict of Interest from by Bill Walters and the Clerk Treasurer will present any requests.
The City Council will meet at 6:30 with the first order of business being reorganization and the election of a mayor Pro-Tempore. The Clerk Treasurer will present a gift of $200 to the City Monetary Gift Fund from Vickie and Billy Ellinger for the Fire Training Tower.
The City Council will hear any reports from department heads and consider Conflict of Interest forms for Council Greg Compton and Randy Longanecker.
Ed Rodriguez will appear before the Plymouth City Council to discuss the City ID Program. This program would issue local ID cards so anyone who doesn’t have or can’t get a state ID card can still have a form of ID recognized by the city so they could establish utility services and such. The ID card would not allow them to vote.
The city meetings are held in the second floor council chambers of City Hall. The meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
