Members of the Marshall County Council will convene for their first meeting of 2019.
The lengthy agenda includes a request from the Health Department to apply for a lead testing grant, the 2019 Sheriff’s Contract and a request by Commission Overmyer for the OCRA Broadband Grant.
Ward Byers from Community Corrections will request a waiver of the 90 day probationary pay for an employee and discuss a part-time community corrections officer. Byers will also present the 2020 Community Correction Grant Application and Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will discuss the Pre-Trail Diversion, Sheriff Matt Hassle will talk about jail treatment and Jim Bendy from the Probation Department will also be in attendance.
Marshall County Economic Development Corp. and Big Idea will present the Marshall County Marketing Campaign.
The Council will consider additional and transfer request.
The meeting is open to the public in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
