Meth ArrestPlymouth Police Officer John Weir was called to the Pointe Apartments at 309 Kingston Avenue on Wednesday, September 5th about 1:30 in the afternoon for a people outside in a red van that appeared to be smoking marijuana.

As Officer Weir walked up to the red van and a white truck that was parked next to it he could immediately smell the odor of burnt marijuana.  He had his K9 partner Jax walk around the vehicles and he indicated the presence of narcotics.

A search was conducted on both vehicles and suspected methamphetamines, marijuana and paraphernalia were found.

Three people were taken into custody:  36 year old Joshua L. McCarty, 50 year old Brenda L. Hurley and 63 year old Deborah L. Warner all of Plymouth.

Joshua McCarty was held on a $3,000 cash bond for Possession of Meth and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Brenda Hurley was held on a $1,500 bond for Possession of Meth and Deborah Warner was issued a promise to appear.
