Tobacco-CessationSaint Joseph Health System (SJHS) Community Health & Well-Being is hosting a free, seven-week Tobacco Cessation Class, Freedom from Smoking, at the Community Resource Center of Marshall Countybeginning Thursday, September 6. Participants should register by Tuesday, September 4.

The Tobacco Cessation Class is designed to serve as a resource for communitymembers to eliminate their use of tobacco products. This class is recommended for individuals who are trying to quitand need a little help along the way.

Led by Tobacco Education Coordinator, Latorya Greene, course topics include: understanding addiction to nicotine; learning the importance of behavior change; mastering the first few days of quitting; mastering obstacles; and staying quit, enjoying a smoke-free life.

Classes will be held at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County located at 510 W. Adams St.  Plymouth, Indiana on Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 pm including: September 6, 13, 20 and 27 and October 4, 11, and 18. Contact 574.335.4684 for more information and/or to register.
