MugShot_Brandon MortimoreA traffic stop on Saturday by a Marshall County Police Officer ended with two South Bend people being arrested for meth in a stolen vehicle. 

Shortly after 10:00 PM on August 4th  Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2000 Chevrolet Blazer in the area of Michigan Road and Tyler Road.  During his investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 34 year old Brandon L. Mortimore was found to be operating on a suspended driver`s license with a prior charge.   It was also verified that the license plate on the vehicle was false, and after checking the vehicle identification number, the vehicle was found to be reported stolen out of South bend. 

Inside the vehicle the officer located a methamphetamine pipe with residue in it that tested positive for meth.  A
second methamphetamine pipe was located approximately 20 feet into the grass from the
vehicle. 

Brandon L. Mortimore was taken to the jail for possession of stolen property and driving while suspended prior and held on a $3,000 cash bond. 

MugShot_Frances BiancoThe female passenger in the vehicle, 39 year old Frances M. Bianco, was taken to the jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
