The Bremen Public Library recently unveiled a brand new media lab equipped with technology that will allow you to “Think Up, Make Up, Dream Up!”
You can explore your inner musician with the electric guitar, keyboard, microphone and Garage Band. Produce exciting videos with the video camera, tripod, green screen and iMovie. If photography is your passion, you will enjoy full access to Adobe Creative Cloud, including programs like Photoshop and Lightroom. You can also transfer VHS tapes to DVD and print posters on the Bremen Public Library high-quality, large-format printer ($5 per linear foot).
Users who complete a class or one-on-one learning session with a library staff member are eligible to reserve the lab for independent use. One-on-one learning sessions may happen during open lab hours. (For the month of June, the lab will be open and staffed during the following times: 4-6 p.m. Mondays; 10-12 Wednesdays; and 3-5 Fridays.) If you are unable to attend open lab hours, you may schedule a one-on-one session with a Bremen Library staff member at another time by e-mailing bremenpubliclibrary@gmail.com.
