Bourbon policeBourbon Police Officer Rick Kanarr conducted a traffic stop for the violation of driving left of center Monday evening about 6:50 at State Road 331 near 16B Road.

During the investigation, it was discovered the driver, 45 year old Jacob P. Miller of Fort Wayne was driving without a valid license and in violation of a protective order (the protected person was in the vehicle).

Also in the vehicle was 36 year old Bill JA Hackworth of Warsaw who was wanted on an active warrant for failure to appear.
Both were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail with the assistance at the scene by Marshall County Sheriff Department deputies.

Jacob Miller was held on a $750 cash bond and Bill Hackworth was held on a $3,000 cash bond and with NO BOND for the warrant.
