Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt updated members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on this year’s fuel bids.
The contracted price with Ceres Solutions, formerly North Central Co-op was set at $2.40 per gallon for gasoline and $2.69 for diesel and includes taxes and fees. With these prices he expects to spend $137,437.50 this year.
Marquardt compared the prices with 2017 which were $2.28 for gas and $2.53 for diesel.
