Plymouth Color Logo2014Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt updated members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on this year’s fuel bids.

The contracted price with Ceres Solutions, formerly North Central Co-op was set at $2.40 per gallon for gasoline and $2.69 for diesel and includes taxes and fees.   With these prices he expects to spend $137,437.50 this year.

Marquardt compared the prices with 2017 which were $2.28 for gas and $2.53 for diesel.

The street superintendent was also given permission to seek quotes for a new street sweeper to replace the one purchased in 2000 along with a new patch machine.
