Discover PlymouthDiscover Plymouth is currently collecting caps for benches and tables in the downtown area, along the Greenway Trail and in the city parks.

It takes 500 pounds of plastic caps to make an 8 foot bench with a back along with $275 and 1000 pounds of plastic caps and $500 for a 6 foot table.

DiscoverPlymouth_grey-benchCaps being collected at the WTCA Studios and Plymouth Public Library are medicine bottle caps, milk jug caps, deodorant and tooth paste caps, deodorant and hair spray caps.  The cap of your water bottle and pop bottles work along with clean food caps from cottage cheese, yogurt lids, peanut butter jars, cool whip containers, butter lids and coffee can tops are all recyclable.

Gather your caps and drop them off at WTCA or the Plymouth Library and then watch for new benches in the downtown area, parks and trail.
