Culver beats O-D
ARGOS — The Cavaliers beat O-D in the opening round of boys soccer sectional, 3-1.
RT Roberts scored with 24 minutes left in the first, with an assist from Trenton Jones. Damien Byers scored with 33 minutes left in the second half, with an assist from Austin Otteman
Jones then scores on a solo run with 30 minutes left.
O-D managed one goal on Culver, a solo shot by Dennis Cooley
Culver keeper Cody Rieckhoff had nine saves and Culver had 20 shots on goal. The Cavs will take on Caston Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in round two of sectional. Argos plays Lakeland Christian Academy in the early game at 5:15 p.m. at Argos.
