UW_Taste of Marshall CountyIndulge your taste buds and enjoy a family fun night at the 2nd Annual Taste of Marshall County, Saturday, August 12 from 5-10pm located at Young Amphitheatre in Centennial Park, Plymouth, IN.

The event starts this year with a 5k/1 mile run/walk sponsored by the Marshall County Running Club at 4 pm. The food court, beer and wine garden and entertainment areas open at 5 pm with new venders and a wide range of menu selections. Live music includes Shots Fired Reloaded at 5 pm followed by Southern Straightaway from 7-10 pm.

“We’re excited to have George’s Highlander Grill and Amish Kuntry pies signed up to serve you this year,” said Chris Berdahl, United Way Events Chair. “It’s going to be a great night and we look forward to seeing everyone there!”

VIP packages are available for $30 and can be purchased in advance online at marshallcountyuw.org or in person at the UWMC office, located at 2701 N. Michigan St, Plymouth (in Key Bank building).  VIP package includes $20 in taste tickets, a Taste of Marshall County t-shirt, a beer/wine garden and entertainment pass and VIP parking. Taste tickets ($1 ea) may also be purchased at the event. Access to the food court is free. Five tickets are required for access to the beer/wine garden and entertainment area.

The event serves as the official launch of the 2017 United Way Campaign. Proceeds help United Way in the fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. Bring a blanket. Bring a chair. Bring your friends and family.
