A Bremen man is in the Marshall County Jail after Plymouth Officer John Weir and his K9 Partner Jax conducted a traffic stop at Plymouth Goshen Trail and US 30 on Thursday.

40 year old Scott Marlan Hanson of Bremen was driving on US 30 and stopped for a traffic infraction.  K9 Jax walked around the vehicle and indicated the presence of narcotics inside.  A search was conducted and suspected methamphetamine was located along with paraphernalia.

Hanson was also driving on a suspended license.  He was booked into the County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
