Plymouth High School teacher Dwight Beguin was chosen by the student body as the PHS Teachers Credit Union (TCU) Teacher of the Month for December! He was selected for the positive classroom environment that he creates, his caring for his students and the way he treats creative lesson planning. Some comments from the nominating students were:
- “I believe that Mr. Beguin should be teacher of the month because he is a very funny, positive, and caring. He has stayed after school to help me on my current homework assignments on many occasions. I love being in one of his classes because he makes everyone laugh by always joking around, making the lessons fun, and understanding. He is willing to take the times out of his day to help his students whenever he can, and I really appreciate that.”
- “Mr.Beguin is the best math teacher I’ve ever had. He makes math enjoyable for his students. I have never looked forward to math class before, but I know that every morning when I walk into his room my day is going to get off to a good start. Mr.Beguin not only makes math enjoyable, but he makes sure that every single student in our class understand before moving on. He never rushes through lessons. He takes as much time as we need to fully understand it.”
- “Mr.Beguin is the best math teacher ever. He makes math so much fun. He always makes sure every single kid understands the lesson before moving on. He really cares about us and our grades. He makes sure that we have opportunities to make up things we missed as well. He just goes above and beyond to help us learn math in the best and most fun way.”
