Last month Larry Fisher, Marshall County Surveyor told members of the Drainage Board a petition had been filed on the mutual drain to the Kline Ditch in Union Township by property owners Paul and Joyce Winn; Larry Zechiel and Paul Davis. He said the drain is located in Marshall and Fulton Counties in the area of State Road 110 and Queen Road.
Fisher said the drain has an obstruction and it’s believed the issue is on property owned or managed by Alan Collins. While the petitioners have discussed the issue with Collins he has not been successful in resolving the issue.
During Monday’s Drainage Board meeting Fisher presented two options to correct the issue. The drainage board will conduct a public hearing at their meeting on Monday, January 3rd meeting to consider the options and take action.
