FIre Department buildingPlymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller presented the September activity report to members of the Board of Public Works this week.

First responders had 186 alarm situations with 148 of them being Emergency Medical incidents and 8 for medical assists.

Fire fighters responded to 4 vehicle fires, 3 outside rubbish fires, 1 structure fire, 1 electrical problem, 1 incitement listed as other fire and 1 special type incident.

Plymouth fire responded to 2 good intent calls in September, 1 public service assistant call, a system malfunction, 5 false alarms and 10 dispatched and cancelled en route.

The summary of incidents by district show 132 were in Plymouth, 29 in West Township, 21 in Center Township and 1 in LaPaz.  Plymouth paramedics also assisted Argos, Starke County and Culver one time each last month.
