The Pilgrims JV team captured a hard fought win over the St. Joe Indians on Monday evening. The Pilgrims scored their lone two runs in the bottom of the first inning on a two-out, two run single by Jared Hurford. Those runs proved to be all the Pilgrims would need. Cam Dennie got the win, allowing one run over four innings. He struck out three, and gave up two hits. Ezra Winkle entered the game in the fourth inning for the Pilgrims and kept the Indians at bay. The Pilgrims moved to 2-0 on the year and are back in action on Thursday when they host Triton.
