MugShot_Steven JohnsonMarshall County K9, Arras assisted in the arrest of an Illinois man Tuesday.

About 11:30 Tuesday morning County Officer Jonathan Bryant conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Michigan and Plymouth Goshen Road on an SUV that had expired license plates.

During the stop the K9, Arras, was requested to the scene after the officer detected the odor of Marijuana inside the vehicle. Arras indicated narcotics inside and a subsequent search located Marijuana inside the truck. The driver and only occupant 27 year old Steven Johnson of Illinois was arrested for possession and also a warrant out of Fulton County.
