The Lincoln Junior High wrestling team took 2nd place at the Indian Springs middle school super dual tournament on Saturday defeating Lakeland 96-0, East Noble 63-33, Adams Central 78-21, before losing to Indian Springs 51-42. Undefeated wrestlers on the day were Dominic Smith, Bernard Breese, Arturo Valdez, Cam Vanlue, Dylan Panzika, Graham Calhoun, Niko Mcmillen, Diego Garcia, Kendal Himes, and Mathew Sharp.On Sunday Plymouth sent 5 wrestlers to the Middle School State Competition at New Castle High School, a large tournament with 600 of the best middle school wrestlers in the state. Dominic Smith, Brady Pittman, Graham Calhoun, Blake Davis, and Kendal Himes participate in the tournament and every wrestler won a match! Kendal Himes took 5th at 220 lbs with a record of 4-2. Graham Calhoun took 1st place at 132 lbs with a record of 6-0 and was honored as a middle school state champion.
