On August 18th, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from the Department of Child Services regarding unfit living conditions for children living in a residence in Plymouth.
Detective Leo Mangus investigated the complaint. He contacted the residents who were identified as 36 year old Kennith Driver and 35 year old Emily Graves of the 1600 block of North Michigan Street.
An inspection of the home revealed an infestation with cockroaches and the home was filthy with a strong odor.
A report was submitted to the Prosecutor and charges were filed and a warrant issued on September 10 for the arrest of Kennith Driver and Emily Graves. On the morning of September 11 city officers arrested Driver and Graves was arrested on September 13.
Their bonds were set at 1,500.00 cash.
