ArrestedOn August 18th, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from the Department of Child Services regarding unfit living conditions for children living in a residence in Plymouth.

MugShot_KENNETH DRIVERDetective Leo Mangus investigated the complaint.  He contacted the residents who were identified as 36 year old Kennith Driver and 35 year old Emily Graves of the 1600 block of North Michigan Street.

MugSHot_EMILY GRAVESAn inspection of the home revealed an infestation with cockroaches and the home was filthy with a strong odor.  

A report was submitted to the Prosecutor and charges were filed and a warrant issued on September 10 for the arrest of Kennith Driver and Emily Graves.  On the morning of September 11 city officers arrested Driver and Graves was arrested on September 13.

 

Their bonds were set at 1,500.00 cash.

 

 

 

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
