During the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meeting, City Attorney Sean Surrisi asked members to grant the Boys and Girls Club permission to be on city property adjacent to the gymnasium.
Surrisi said Billie Treber, Executive Director of the local club contacted the city seeking permission to conduct soil borings on the two parcels that sit directly to the west of the gym to see if they were viable to build on. The club is interested in expanding and although the property sits in the flood plain.
The Board of Public Works and Safety approved the request for soil borings.
