The Plymouth golf season came to a close on a hot and humid afternoon at Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake. The Pilgrims finished with a team total 332 finishing 11th out of 18 schools. Attached full results.
The course played tough and the greens were certainly the fastest we’d played all season. Our preparation going into today was excellent and all the players put their best effort on the line. Today was simply not our day. No player breaking 80 was a tough pill to swallow after such an exceptional run of scoring the past two weeks.
Today’s finish puts a close on a wonderful season! Our two seniors Ben Schenk 82 and Reis Yoder 84 will surely be missed next spring. Sophomores Hudson Yoder 83 and Micah Calhoun 93 along with Freshman John Schenk 83 will look to repeat this year’s sectional success and regional run.
Many thanks to the parents and extended family that battled the heat today in support of our guys. A special thanks goes out to our JV players who supported our guys with a tailgate.
