Bush (1024x685)DONALDSON, IN – Victoria Bush, daughter of Terrance and Michele Bush, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career at Ancilla College.

Bush, who plans to study Health Science and Nursing at Ancilla said the reason she chose Ancilla was because “Ancilla welcomed me with open arms.  I felt at home while away from home.  The atmosphere was great, and it was the perfect fit for me.”

Bush, an Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker, and South Bend Clay 2015 graduate has accomplished many accolades while in high school. She will graduate with 7 Varsity letters in Volleyball and Track, three in Volleyball and four in track. She was named NIC All-Conference Honorable Mention in Volleyball, she has been captain of both her Volleyball and Track Teams, and she received the MVP Award in Volleyball, is a recipient of the Kiwanis Award, and is #1 in the City (South Bend) in Girls Shot Put. Bush completed her senior season at Clay with 195 digs, 21 aces, 55 blocks, and 93 kills while playing for Clay Head Coach Staci Hill.

Another serious commitment that she has made is to the Krush Volleyball Club in Niles Michigan. Bush has played two years for the club, first under Head Coach Ray Prestly and currently under Director and Head 18’s Coach Dennis Cooper. They were both on hand at the Krush Volleyball Club for the signing and Cooper had these comments about Bush, “Tori is a hard working player and has improved both technically and intellectually in the game this year.”

Bush competes in the Great Lakes Power League, and has participated in the World Challenge.  Ancilla Coach Lana Singleton added, “Victoria Bush will bring great athleticism to our program.  She has shown a great commitment to compete at the next level by her dedication to her club team.  She has had some great coaching and I know she will be capable of making solid contributions.”
