Plymouth faced off against Bremen on Tuesday night in a pitcher’s duel. Hayley Brown allowed 4 hits on the day, struck out 6 while Huppert allowed 3 hits on 9 strike outs for Bremen. The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the 4th inning when M. Box for Bremen hit an RBI triple. Bremen ended the inning with a 4-0 lead. In the 6th inning, Plymouth showed signs of life as Kristen McNeal started the inning with one of her 2 hits in the game. Alexis McVicker then earned a walk, and Bailey Hatfield got a clutch hit to score McNeal. Hayley Brown walked to load the bases, but unfortunately Plymouth left the 3 base runners stranded. In the bottom of the 6th inning, Bremen earned that run back to make the score 5-1 which was later the final.
