City NEwsMonday evening members of the Plymouth Common Council approved an ordinance on 2nd and 3rd reading for the issuance of waterworks revenue bonds for a major improvement project at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant and a water main extension.  The second ordinance approved on both reading was to authorize the refunding of the 2008 sewage works revenue bond and the issuance of a new sewage work revenue bond for a major improvement project at the Sewer Treatment Plant.

The City Council also passed two resolutions approving the addition of new projects to two of the TIF Districts.   In TIF #1 the projects includes the Ledyard Water Plant Improvement project with a pledge of $40,000 to $80,000 annually toward the debt service for the project and future improvements to Pioneer Drive north of US 30. In TIF #3 the new project is the future improvements to Pioneer Drive north of US30.
