1132WaranaDrive_1Thursday evening about 7:45 Plymouth Police were notified of a burglary at 1132 Warana Drive.  The juvenile suspect was seen running from the property.  Officers responded and canvassed the area between Pennsylvania Avenue and Ferndale and Hillcrest.  Within in a few minutes they located the juvenile male subject who was running between houses in the 1,000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

1132WaranaDrive_2The juvenile was transported to the Plymouth Police Department where he was interviewed by detectives and confessed to having been the perpetrator.  The juvenile was then transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged for burglary, intimidation and theft.

1132WaranaDrive_3copsOfficers searched an area between Lincolnway East and Ferndale for items the suspect had ditched prior to be detained by officers.

1132WaranaDrive_4Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
