During a special meeting this week, the Plymouth Park Board approved a resolution that will allow for the transfer of a John Deere lawnmower from the park to the Plymouth Municipal Airport.
Park Superintendent Mike Hite explained that he purchased a new John Deere in January and the trade-in value of the older mower was $3,100. The airport has borrowed the parks equipment and expressed a desire to purchase the old one for their use. The resolution allows for the transfer of the property between the two city departments. In exchange the airport will pay the $3,100 to the park department.
Superintendent Hite said the air conditioning project at the Webster Center came in at $11,300 and he had budgeted $20,000. Hite said he plans to do building improvements including new floors in the foyer, kitchen, and bathrooms along with new paint and replacing the kitchen appliances.
