LOST DOGAn Hicksville, Ohio couple is desperately searching in the Bourbon area for their service dog.

On Friday Dave Cole was making a delivery to Chagall Holding at 202 South Ecker Street. Apparently the service dog, a German Sheppard/hound mix named Jim got out of the pickup truck to relieve himself, which is normal but didn’t jump back in and the owner didn’t realize that the dog wasn’t in the truck until he was almost to Columbia City on his way back to Ohio. Mr. Cole immediately turned the truck around had headed back to Bourbon searching for Jim, the service dog. After driving for hours searching the town and talking to as many people as he could Cole drove home to drop his trailer. He came back and spent the night in Bourbon hoping Jim would come back to the truck.

This entire week the Dave Cole has been in Bourbon searching for the dog driving up and down all the streets hoping to get a glimpse of Jim a 12 year old male German Sheppard/hound mix, about 55 pounds, black with tan eyebrows, who is very friendly and not wearing a collar.

Jim is the service dog for Susan Cole who is in a wheelchair.
