02/17/14 National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northern Indiana beginning at 11:00am on Monday, February 17.  The advisory will remain in effect until 11:00pm Monday night.

Snow will begin to fall after 1pm with the heaviest snow fall occurring in the afternoon and evening. 3-5 inches of new snow is expected. In addition, winds will be blowing out of the southeast at approximately 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Roads will become slick and hazardous. Visibility may also be reduced during the heaviest snow.

Marshall County remains at a “Watch Level” travel advisory which indicates that; only essential travel such as to and from work or for emergency situations is recommended. Businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations should be implementing their emergency plans.
