December 20th –The Red Storm won a thrilling game over Laporte Kessling on a steal and last second jumper from Nick Felke. The victory raises their record to 14-1. The victors started the game on a 10-0 run and using inspired defense managed to finish off the previously undefeated visitors, 38-36. Jake Young led the way with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals. John Gerard had 8 points and Ryan Carmichael added 7 points to the effort. The 8th Graders return to action January 7th against Milford.
December 18th –
The Red Storm won easily versus and over matched team from Knox Tuesday night, 41-18. The Red Storm jumped out to 16-0, 21-1, and 25-1 leads before leading 27-3 at the half. They began the second half by scoring the first 8 points to lead 35-3. They cruised to the easy finish with everyone getting ample playing time. Ryan Carmichael led the Red Strom with 12 points. Nick Felke chipped in 10 and Travis Owen added 6. The Red Storm are now 13-1.
December 13th –
The Red Storm traveled to Laporte Boston last Thursday Night. Nick Felke led the team to a 36-21 victory on the shoulders of 20 points on 8 of 10 shooting from the floor. He also added 4 assists and 5 steals to the effort. At one point in the second half Nick was outscoring the whole Boston team 20-14. The Red Storm are now 12-1 and will next play Knox at home on the 18th.
