07/10/12 The newly formed Plymouth Education Foundation will get a helping hand from AM 1050 WTCA as the radio station will host an on air auction to raise money for Plymouth Schools.

The auction will take place on July 18 from 9 a.m. to noon hosted by WTCA’s Kathy Bottorff and Tony Ross and members of the Foundation. All proceeds will go to the Plymouth Education Foundation’s fund with the Marshall County Community Foundation to further programs at the Plymouth Schools.

Items for auction already include a vacation provided by Oliver Ford, a Toshiba tablet computer and other items from Adams-Remco, box seats from the South Bend Silver Hawks and a luxury box for a game provided by U.S. Granules, an all sports pass for PHS athletics from the Plymouth Athletic boosters, various items from the PHS Athletic Department including sideline passes for a football game and a bench pass for a basketball game.

There are also one of a kind items and memorabilia up for auction from individual donors.

The Plymouth Education Foundation is committed to being a philanthropic fundraising organization that supports programs of the Plymouth Community School Corporation in order to provide opportunities that enhance student learning and achievement, promote social and emotional development of  students, and contribute to a strong community through a belief that education is key.

In the pursuit of our mission, the Plymouth Education Foundation seeks to create and develop business and community partnerships in support of Plymouth Community School Corporation, as well as funding grants, scholarships and endowments, which support educational opportunities for students.

The Foundation is a 501c3 not for profit and will work in cooperation with the Marshall County Community Foundation. All donations are tax deductible.
