07/02/12 North Central Indiana state representatives have been named to legislative study committees that will meet during the coming months.

“The members of the North Central delegation are a multi-talented group with a wealth of experience and knowledge,” said Indiana House Democratic Leader B. Patrick Bauer of South Bend. “These legislators’ contributions to the study committees will prove invaluable as the committees discuss a variety of issues that may be considered during the 2013 Indiana General Assembly.”

            STATE REP. NANCY DEMBOWSKI (D-Knox), District 17, has been named to the Joint Study Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure Assessment & Solutions.

          STATE REP. RYAN DVORAK (D-South Bend), District 8, has been reappointed to the Compliance Advisory Panel, the Environmental Quality Service Council, the Indiana Heritage Trust Committee, and the Regulatory Flexibility Committee.

          STATE REP. CRAIG FRY (D-Mishawaka), District 5, will again be a member of the Health Finance Commission.

          STATE REP. DAVID NIEZGODSKI (D-South Bend), District 7, will continue to serve on the Commission on Military & Veterans Affairs, the Pension Management Oversight Commission and the State Fair Advisory Committee. In addition, Niezgodski has been appointed to the Natural Resources Study Committee and the Water Resources Study Committee.

          STATE REP. SCOTT PELATH (D-Michigan City), 9th Dist., will serve on the Illiana Expressway Proposal Review Committee and the Indiana Uniform Law Commission.
