Ryan Ripley Resigns as Marshall County Democratic Party Chairman

11/18/11  Thursday even Ryan Ripley emailed the following resignation letter to the media and the Marshall County Clerk and her voter deputy.

Effective December 1^st, 2011, I am resigning my position as the Chairman of the Marshall County Democratic Party.  My family and I are in the process of moving out of the area to pursue new career opportunities.

I have enjoyed the past two years working with the Marshall County Democratic Party and wish future party leaders and candidates all the best with their upcoming efforts and campaigns.

After December 1^st, Michelle Livinghouse, who is the current vice-chair, will be acting Chairwoman until the party holds a meeting to vote in a new Chairperson.
