08/02/11 The Plymouth Police Department stayed busy over the weekend with ten arrests.  Beginning on Friday, July 29th at approximately 7:30 p.m. Officer Derek Workman made a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Oak Drive and Pilgrim Lane.  It was discovered that the driver, 29 year old Lauren K. Parsons of Plymouth was driving without ever receiving a license.  A passenger in her vehicle, 22 year old John Wloch Jr. of Plymouth was in possession of Marijuana.  Both were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where Parsons was booked on several other charges including possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, and expired dealer plate.  Wloch was booked in on possession of marijuana with a cash bond set at $2000.00.  Both have scheduled court hearing in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on August 30th at 8:30am.

Officer Workman made another arrest just two hours later when he made traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan Street and Hoham Drive.  It was discovered that the male driver Norberto Ortiz 32, of Reno, Oklahoma was driving without ever receiving a license.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where his bond was set at $250.00 cash, which was paid on the same date at 11:25pm.  Ortiz has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall Superior Court #2 on August 30th at 8:30am.

On Saturday, July 30th around 3:25 a.m. Sergeant Joe Deisch of the Plymouth Police Department made an arrest in front of Wal-Mart.  He suspected alcohol was involved and found that Joseph M. Monahan 38, of Washington D.C. was driving while intoxicated.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where his bond was set at $1000.00 cash.  Monahan’s bond was paid on the same date at 12:25 p.m.  He is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on August 16th at 8:30am.

On Saturday, July 30th Corporal Bridget Hite was dispatched to Wal-Mart for a male subject that was extremely intoxicated and was shoplifting.  Once Hite took the subject into custody, and transported him to Plymouth Hospital for observation and then transported him to the Marshall County Jail.  The subject was identified as Nicholas B. Hummel 33, of Walkerton.  His cash bond was set at $1000.00 for theft and public intoxication.  His bond was paid on the same date at 3:30 p.m. and he was released and given an August 16th court date in Marshall County Superior Court # 2.

Later on Saturday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. Officer Workman arrested Cesar E. Herrera-Rodriguez 34, of Bremen in the 200 block of West Washington Street in Plymouth, on an Immigration Warrant.  Rodriguez was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for a Deported Felon warrant.  No bond was placed on the subject.

Officer Workman also made an arrest at the intersection of Oak Drive and Jefferson Street about 7:40 Saturday evening.  Eric Patrick 32, of Plymouth was arrested after the traffic stop for two warrants out of Marshall County.  He was also in possession of Methamphetamines.  Patrick was transported to the County Jail where he was booked in for one failure to appear on a Felony, failure to appear on a misdemeanor and possession of Methamphetamines over three grams near a school, park etc.   There is no bond set at this time.  He has a scheduled court appearance on August 30th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #1.

Officer Workman stayed busy later that evening with another arrest on Saturday evening at 10:00.  He conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and found that Wendy M. Olds 38, of Plymouth was intoxicated after a concerned motorist called in the impaired driver.  Mrs. Olds was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for Operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .15% or more.  A $1000.00 cash bond was set with a scheduled court appearance of August 9th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #2.

Joshua T. Hale 18, of Plymouth was arrested on Saturday July 30th at 7:53pm when he escaped from Prairie view Group Home located at 703 West Jefferson Street, where he was committed by the courts.  Mr. Hale was located on the railroad tracks near Pioneer Drive and Lincoln way west.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail by Officer Workman.  He was charged with Failure to Return to Lawful Detention, with a $1000.00 cash bond.  Hale has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on August 30th at 8:30am.

Then on Sunday, July 31st at 1:59 a.m. Luis E. Cerrato 21, of Plymouth was arrested at the intersection of Plum and North Strees for Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated.  His bond was set at $1000.00 cash with a scheduled court appearance on August 16th.
