06/20/11 The Marshall County Drainage Board and County Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

The Drainage Board will consider an urban drain petition from Del Wenzel for lots 21 and 22 of the 4th phase of the South Pointe Subdivision.

Nathan Rumschiag from SCO Engineering will discuss the storm water improvements at Culver Academies and the White DeVries Rowing Center.  Also on the agenda is the petition for a mutual drain and maintenance on the William Morris Drain.

The County Commissioners will meet beginning at 9:30 a.m. Their agenda has a number of items for consideration.  First is a public hearing for an amendment to the zoning ordinance under Wind Energy.  At 10 a.m. they have a public hearing for an amendment to the zoning ordinance under Telecommunication facility standards.

Also on the agenda is the quarterly update by Museum Director Linda Rippy and an update on the 13th road bridge replacement project by Jeff Million of DLZ.  County Recorder Marlene Mahler will present her preference for new software and County attorney Jim Clevenger will give his report along with County Auditor Penny Lukenbill.

The Drainage Board and Commissioner’s meeting are open to the public for comments and questions.
