02/25/11 The Marshall County Ministerial Association is pleased to announce the Christian Variety Show hosted by Annette Ray of Bourbon and Cindy Flagg of Plymouth was a success.  Over 200 hundred people were in attendance at the First United Methodist Church as eighteen different acts performed.

Entertainers of all ages shared their talents with the audience as they gave praise to the Lord for their ability to do so.  Those in attendance enjoyed the evening as they watched dancers, a flute choir, a juggler, a sign language song done with white gloves and black light, pianists, vocalists and instrumentalists.

Door prizes were given out during the evening and refreshments were served during intermission.   Admission for the event was a non-perishable food item for the Neighborhood Center food pantry.

“We are overwhelmed by the response of the community for the food pantry,” exclaimed variety show host Annette Ray.  “We had a shopping cart to put the items in and it is full and over-flowing!  Thank you to everyone who brought something and helped the food pantry in this way.”
