10/01/10 The Plymouth Public Library is sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving Program on Saturday, October 16. Children will have an opportunity to carve their very own special pumpkin for Halloween. Mom and dad are encouraged to come and help with the project, also. The library will supply the pumpkins and the child safe carving knives. The program will take place in the Children’s Story Time Room at 2:00 P.M. Computer sign-up begins Friday, October 1st through October 15. To sign-up visit their website (www.plymouth.lib.in.us) and click on Scheduled Library Events. Reciprocal patrons are asked to register at the library and pay the required fee at that time. The session will be limited to 20 children. This is a very popular program, so plan to sign up early. If after signing up your plans change, please call and let us know so that another child can use that space. The children always have a great time, and it is a lot of fun for everyone that participates.
Children registering for the pumpkin carving must live (or their parents must own property) in Plymouth, Center or West Townships, or have a paid out of township card purchased at the Plymouth Public Library.
