Webster_Steven SpeilbergThe Live Wax Museum is an exciting hands-on history-learning element that concludes a 2-week long classroom lesson! The lesson begins with students choosing a historical influential person to research, and then they build a presentation around this person, make a prop and/or create their own costume for the big event. Swain said, “Students are encouraged to not go buy a new costume, but rather to be creative and make one from items we have here at school or at home.”

Swain said, “In previous years we only had the presentation, prop and costume.” She went on to say, “This is our third year for holding the event and it gets better and better each year!”
