The 63rd annual National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 1st this year and has the theme: One Voice United in Prayer.  Last year approximately 4300 gatherings were held across the nation.

Senior Associate Pastor Collin Seitz from Crossroads Church in Plymouth will host a National Day of Prayer community event at the Marshall County Court House at noon.  Seitz was the Niles Michigan coordinator for the National Day of Prayer event for several years.  He recently moved to the area and wasn’t sure if there was an event at the Court House so he called the commissioners and asked.  The pastor was granted permission to conduct a public National Day of Prayer event at noon on the Court House lawn.

Seitz said his plans are simple this year.  “During this spontaneous event we will gather and pray for about 20 minutes.  We will pray for our county, nation and the world.  We will pray for our service men and women, our schools, the youth, families and more.”

This is for everyone from the community.
