The American Perspectives Class, a combine class that studies American History and English is taught by Jeff Corso and John Kozlovich. These teachers created a project which the kids LOVED !!
WSOI Learners were poised with this question :
“Imagine that you are an analyst for the Department of War during the early years of the Second World War. Based on your investigation of SPAM, develop a one paragraph sales pitch to the U.S. Government that explains why it should, or should not be purchased by the military. Be sure to use descriptive language and the persuasive techniques. ”
Corso and Kozlovich tweeted their project……and within an hour SPAM Corporation tweeted back! Very cool !
