HomeServe Soliciting City Residents for Water Line Insurance

  12/20/12 Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter and Utility Director Donnie Davidson are sending a word of clarification to city residents.

The Mayor said, “There are letters going around the city from a company named HomeServe.”  He continued, “They are offering Water Service Line Coverage” and it’s an insurance policy to cover the part of the water lines that the City does not maintain.

Utility Superintend Davidson explained that the City does not sponsor, solicit or recommend this service.  If the homeowner feels a sense of security by buying this coverage, it is a legitimate company.
