Indiana’s second highest Court will conduct a live, in person oral argument in Plymouth on Friday, March 11 at 12:15 p.m.  A panel consisting of Judge Patricia A. Riley, Judge Margret G. Robb, and Judge Leanna K. Weissmann will hear Tippecanoe School Corp. v. Isabella Reynolds et al. The case synopsis can be found HERE.

The oral argument will conclude with a question-and-answer session with the audience; however, the judges are unable to speak about the case. This event is held as part of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Women in Law Bench Bar Retreat.

The Court Hearing will take place in the Conference Center at Swan Lake in the Grand Ballroom at 5203 Plymouth Laporte Trail.

The Court of Appeals hears oral arguments across Indiana to enable Hoosiers to observe the real-world issues that face the Court and to learn more about the Court’s indispensable role in Indiana government. Audiences also get to observe skilled legal arguments and advocacy by some of Indiana’s best lawyers, against a backdrop of case-specific facts and statutory and constitutional law.

The event is open to the public and will last about one hour.
