Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS) has updated their visitation guidelines to provide the possible environment for all SJHS locations.
Effective November 5, no visitors will be permitted at all SJHS locations except under special circumstances
Limited exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for:
- Maternal Child Services units
- Surgical, procedural, testing, and treatment departments
- Non-COVID patients receiving end-of-life care
- Minors or developmentally or cognitively impaired adults admitted to the hospital
For those exceptions, only one visitor daily will be allowed and they must
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Wear an approved mask at all times
- Be symptom-free of respiratory infection
- Pass a COVID-19 screening process at the facility entrance
