Lady Dragons take big win
ARGOS — The Lady Dragons improved to 10-6 with a much needed 58-32 win over Lakeland Christian Academy at the Dragon Den Saturday night.
On the night 11 of 13 Dragons would score. Morgan Dunlap would lead the way with 11, and Emily Lafree had another aggressive game with 10. Kagnie Hoffman and Liz Edmonds chipped in 8 each, along with relentless rim and frontcourt defense.
The excitement of the night came with the return of Macy Morris. She scored 2 points and provided an emotional return from a knee injury at Judson earlier in the year.
Argos will face two ranked opponents in OD and Pioneer Thursday and Saturday at the Dragon Den, as they tune-up for the Bi Country Tournament in two weeks.
