Rockies take win at East Noble

KENDALVILLE — The Rockies traveled to East Noble and came away with a 49-30 victory.
Wrestling began at 120 with Max Howard picking up a fall. Dominic Smith followed with a 7-4 win over Blaine Malott who is ranked #7th in the Fort Wayne Semi-State area.
East Noble gained 6 points with a fall at 132 and Cam Shively secured a fall late in the third period at 138. The 145 match saw Tyler Richey get a first-period fall and 152 Bradey Pittman pinned his opponent in the second period.
The Rockies picked up another fall by Zach Truitt at 160. Freshman, Matt McCrum battle hard but ended up losing at 170.
The 182 class saw Graham Calhoun moving up a weight class and getting a fall to run his record to 27-0. Calhoun is now ranked #1 in the state at 170.
Sam Driver continued the roll for the Rockies with a major decision. Diego Garcia finished things off for the Rockies with a fall at 220.
The Rockies forfeited 285, 106, and 113.
